Who We Are

Welcome to Nepenthe Studio!

The word “nepenthe” is defined by Merriam Webster as “a potion used by the ancients to induce forgetfulness of pain or sorrow.” It’s something that helps bring joy, as I hope that my jewelry will bring you joy. Nepenthe is also the name of a favorite book character (from The Alphabet of Thorn by Patricia A. McKillip), and I love the combined meaning.

I started learning to make wire-wrapped jewelry as a hobby in 2020. I’m grateful to my family and friends for their support and encouragement as I take this practice to the next level.

My previous career was in publishing, so you may find literary references around the site and in my pieces.

Be sure to check back often to see what’s in store next!
